I grew up in Manchester and lived in Oxfordshire and France before settling in York. 

I developed my love of colour and texture from everyday experiences and observations of nature. 

I work using oils, acrylics, pastels and photography. In my paintings I use colour, texture and light to convey the feeling of the natural world.
